Tell us about your matter

A short outline is enough to get started. The more context you can give, the more precisely we can direct your enquiry. Everything you share is treated in confidence.

Prefer not to use the form? Call (03) 900 22 800 or email reception@pstanton.com.au and our reception team will point you to the right practitioner.

Questions people ask first

The initial enquiry is confidential and without obligation, and there is no charge for making contact and outlining your matter. Where a matter proceeds to a formal consultation or retainer, we provide a written costs disclosure at the outset, so the basis of our fees is clear before any work begins.
Yes. Enquiries are handled in confidence by our reception team and the relevant practitioner, and legal professional privilege protects the substance of legal advice. You can share enough to let us understand the matter without concern that it will be discussed outside the firm.
Most enquiries receive a response within one business day. If the matter is genuinely urgent, for example a freezing order, an injunction, or a recently served statutory demand with a running deadline, call our main line on (03) 900 22 800 and say that it is urgent, so the matter can be triaged the same day.
Either office is a starting point. Our Melbourne office sits in the legal precinct on Lonsdale Street in the CBD, and our Dandenong office serves clients across Melbourne's south east. Your matter is handled by the same team regardless of where you first make contact, so choose whichever location is easier for you to reach.
Yes. We provide advice and run consultations in English and Chinese (中文). For other languages, let us know when you make contact and we will arrange a suitable interpreter so nothing is lost in the detail of your matter.
Nothing formal is needed to make first contact. A short summary of what has happened, who is involved, and any deadline you are aware of is enough for us to direct the matter. If you already hold key documents, such as a contract, a notice, or court correspondence, having them to hand will help the first conversation move quickly.
